Ask me where I’m from and I’ll be proud to tell you that I’m
Alaska grown. I grew up in Anchorage and have since had the pleasure of
spending the past 5 years on 5 other continents. I studied in Finland, got a
degree in Scotland, worked in Peru, and have travelled many places in between.
But now, I’ve made a commitment to America’s northernmost “city,” Fairbanks,
Alaska. Living 198 miles south of the Arctic Circle, my travels have, shall we
say, become more localized and hobbies are more important than ever. Welcome to one of mine! WilderNest is where I’ll share photos and notes on my modern life in rural
Alaska.
